Building Note:
In 2006, RD Herbert installed a complete Rheinzink gutter system and new shingle roof on this log cabin. When the owner was ready to install a new metal porch roof in 2008, he again requested RD Herbert for fabrication and installation.
Detail:
The scope of work also includes flashing, edge metal, gutters and a small flat lock roof area. Rather than a downspout the owner chose to use copper rain chains to channel water from the gutter to the ground.
