Building Note:
Daugh W. Smith Middle School houses girls' studies for grades 5 to 8 along with the dining hall for the entire school. The two-story, 56,000-square-foot building encloses the main lawn and integrates the middle and upper schools.
Detail:
We installed a new field fabricated standing seam copper roof. Our company also fabricated ten new standing seam copper dormers and provided louver inserts. All the accompanying flashings are 16-oz copper including the chimney, wall, and valley flashings. The built in gutter and downspouts are also 16-oz copper.
