Building Note:
This home was designed by the owner's wife who challenged the contractor to create a home that met her expectations. With fine attention to details and expert craftsmanship, RD Herbert rose to the task. The front elevation highlights mansard copper standing seam roofs backed by EPDM flat roofs. Flanking the entry, two stone turrets, also with copper standing seam roofs, point into the sky. This sprawling structure remains dry under thousands of square feet of CertainTeed shingles. Another flat roof was transformed into an outdoor living space with EPDM and pavers, overlooking the pool area. |

Detail:
All the accompanying flashings are 16-oz copper including the chimney, wall and valley flashings. 650 linear foot of copper 6" halfround gutter and 300 linear feet of 4" round copper downspouts channel the rain water to appropriate locations. |
