Detail:
The extensive green roof began with a Tremco Built-Up roof to protect the interior of the building. After the membrane was secured, the engineered media, pea gravel edging, and decorative plants completed the green roof. The first photo shows the completed waterproofing of the roof. The second photo documents the installation of the plants. This roof garden also has a patio area with potted plants. A paver walk way invites the owners to meander through the green space. To add interest and variety, square metal dividers are filled with two types of rock; Dark Mexican Beach Stone and Multi-Colored River Rock. |
