Project Note:
The two pictures to the left show the before and after of a restaurant passage door. The original aluminum flat door received an updated copper paneled facade. 16 oz copper sheets were cut to 10" wide and the seams covered with 2" wide battens pop riveted to the substrate. Two doors were covered in this manner. No lacquered finish applied so the copper will patina over time.
