Working in conjunction with 1220 Exhibits, RD Herbert built the .063 ga patina bronze bases for the Elephant Discovery Station.

The bases were fabricated in our shop in Nashville, shipped to Washington D.C. then assembled and installed by RD Herbert craftsmen. Fabricated with both welded and butt seams, these two-piece displays encourage interaction with the full-size African Elephant exhibit located in the Rotunda.
