Building Note:
A major renovation for this research facility consisted of over 27,000 square feet of space devoted to clinical and biomedical research. The centers include the Center for Women’s Health Research and the Center for AIDS Health Disparities Research.
The Center for Women’s Health Research opened in the fall of 2006. This 10,000 square foot facility is the first of its kind devoted to addressing diseases which disproportionately affect women of color.

Our workers removed the existing failing roof systems from multiple roof levels down to the existing concrete deck. A temporary roof was applied to keep the building dry during the complex phased demolition and construction. A Tremco
3-ply cold applied BUR roof system with aggregate surface finished the process.Associated metal work included 16-oz copper thru-wall flashing, scuppers, and gravel stop.
